Ribbon: Help Tab Video Script
Hello, and welcome to the AgWare ClickForms help tab tutorial video. In this video, I will explain the various options that are located on the help tab of the ribbon.
First, let’s start by opening the program. When you installed ClickForms, it should have placed a shortcut icon on your desktop. Double click on the icon to open the program. Once the program is open, you will notice a ‘ribbon’ of tabs and options across the top portion of the program. This will look very similar to the Microsoft Word ribbon. The sixth and last tab of the ribbon is the help tab. The first option in the help tab is AgWare Website. When you click on this button, it will open the AgWare help page in your web browser. You will need to be connected to the internet to utilize this feature. The next option in the help tab is join online meeting. Occasionally, there will be times when you need technical support and we need to access your computer to assist you. When you are directed to do so, you can click on this button. It will then take you to a GoToMeeting webpage that will prompt you for a meeting ID. AgWare will provide this meeting ID to you at the time of the support call. Again, you will need an internet connection to access this feature.
The next option is registration. Usually, you will only need to register ClickForms once – when you first open the program, or when your trial period ends. To do so, you will need to click on the register button. This will bring up a new window asking you to fill out a few fields. The first field is username. You will enter your name here exactly as you would like it to appear on your certification page. If you have any special designations you would like to include, you may do so. Next, is the company name field, and you will enter your company’s name here. This will appear at the very top of each page of the ClickFORMS report. After you have entered these two things, you will notice that a user ID number has been generated on screen. In order to obtain an unlocking number, you will have to give us a call at 605-787-7871. If you are a trainee, you will not register the ClickFORMS software under your name. You will need to use your mentor’s information for registration purposes.
The last option is about UAAR ClickForms. This is useful for technical support reasons because it shows us what version of the software you are currently running and we can usually troubleshoot more accurately based on this. This option also tells you who the software is registered to.
